Historical Note: The Student Programming Council is a Registered Student Organization (RSO) that is made up of several committees that are responsible for planning and implementing exciting cultural, educational, recreational and social events that SIUC students want. The SPC is directed by students, for students, and is supported by a portion of every student’s activity fee. The SPC desires encourages SIU students to get involved and have a say at what part of their activity fee money goes to. The committees consist of students who are interested in providing the SIU student body with programming per their committee’s interest. The committees include: Comedy, Concerts, Films, Homecoming, Late Nite Programs, Lectures, Marketing, Social Media, SPC-TV, Special Events, Visual Arts, as well as an Executive and Vice Executive committee.
