Historical Note: Ralph A. Dunn was born in Pinckneyville (Ill), February 28, 1914. He was a Republican politician and Illinois state legislator. Dunn was a delegate to the 1968 Republican National Convention. In 1969-1970 he served as a delegate in the Illinois Constitutional Convention. In 1972 he was elected to the Illinois General Assembly, where he served as a state representative from 1973-1984, and as a state senator from 1985 until his retirement in 1995. He died in Du Quoin (Ill) on May 3, 2004.
