Name: Inchbald family
Historical Note: Charles Chantrey Inchbald (1856-1941), a London banker and stockbroker, and Mary (Elliott) Inchbald, had three sons who served in the British army during World War I. Peter (born 1890) served as part of the 1st Indian Cavalry Division Expedition Force. John Chantrey Elliott (1894-1917) served in the 4th Army Infantry and was killed on 2 April 1917 at Ecoust St. Mein, France. Geoffrey (1896-1982) was part of the Imperial Camel Corps in Egypt.
