Scope and Contents of the Materials

This collection consists of correspondence to and from Alice Parkinson Feirich, memorabilia from Southern Illinois Normal University, and writings by Feirich. In addition this collection also contains personal documents including marriage licenses and college degrees.

Biographical Note

Alice Parkinson Feirich graduated from Southern Illinois Normal University in 1911 and taught at the Training School 1913-1920.  Her father held various positions at SINU, including Secretary of the faculty, Registrar, and President.
