Scope and Contents: The John S. Jackson administrative records consist of correspondence, memoranda, legal documents, and financial and purchase records pertaining to the administration of Southern Illinois University Carbondale during the interim chancellorship of John S. Jackson. The records are arranged into “defense files” organized chronologically by date.
