Scope and Contents: This collection of nearly 1200 typescript pages of erotica, encompassing 82 original and classic stories, poems, songs, and jokes, was assembled by Ardmore, Oklahoma, oil man Roy Melisander Johnson (1881-1960). Copies of previously published stories mingle with uncredited original stories commissioned by Johnson from modernist authors such as Caress Crosby, Henry Miller, and Anaïs Nin.
