Scope and Contents: Photograph album compiled by Captain Henry Colver and his brother Edward Colver in 1915 consisting of 224 black and white photographs. Images illustrate all aspects of trench life, records military life on the front line in the Ypres Salient on the banks of the Yser Canal where the English battalion took over the trenches captured from the Germans, and concludes with a number on board ship, Alexandria, with views toward Gallipoli.
