Scope and Contents: This collection contains records collected by Clifford E. Knapp about outdoor education pioneer Lloyd B. Sharp. The consists of speeches and writings authored by Sharp on camping and outdoor education, as well as master plans for Sessions Woods (Burlington Township, Connecticut) and Reynoldswood Camp (Dixon, Illinois). There are also several writings on the same topics where authorship is unclear, as well biographical information on Sharp including a press release on his arrival at Southern Illinois University in 1960 and a copy of his death certificate.
