Brief Description: Printed form, completed in manuscript, signed by the parties involved, and witnessed by the Justice of the Peace, transfer Lot #42 in Edwardsville, an early frontier town and seat of Madison County in the Illinois Territory, from the possession of Thomas and Polly Kirkpatrick to David Prickett.  The specific location of the lost is laid out in relation to other lots and to Main Street, and measures one-fourth of a square.  The transaction was witnessed and attested to by the Justice of the Peace Abraham Prickett and Thomas Waddle.  October 13, 1817
