Scope and Contents: The collection consists of the papers of Harold C. Rubly from 1931-1945. The papers include corresondence, v-mails, newspaper clipppings and microfilm copies of v-mails. The majority of the collection consists of letters written by Rubly to his wife, Margaret, while stationed at various bases in the United States and then in India. Discussion focuses on life on a military base, church servies, family budget and related family matters. There are additional letters to Margaret from her parents and others serving in the miliary during this same period.
