Scope and Contents: This collection consists of over 15,000 35mm slides of southern Illinois subjects produced by noted local photographer Ned Trovillion. The images include aerial and conservation photographs taken in connection with Trovillion's work, plus photographs of regional events, flowers, wildlife, and other scenery of the southern Illinois region. The scenic photography includes images of the Cache River, Garden of the Gods, Heron Pond, and other similar natural features in the region. Also included in the collection are nine slide presentations.
