Biographical Note for Jackson County (Ill.) Medical Association : Originally known as the Physicians Protective Association of Jackson County, the Jackson County Medical Association membership included resident physicians from the Illinois county.  The purpose of the association was to promote professional advancement for physicians through regular discussions and interchange of opinion.
