Brief Description: This collection consists of Civil War correspondence and portraits. Letters of interest include a letter from Braxton Bragg, a letter from Major General Benjamin Franklin Butler to [Henry] Wilson, complaining of General [Quincy Adams] Gilmore and suggesting he ought to be removed from his command and a letter from Jefferson Davis to the [Confederate] Senate and House of Representatives.  Portraits consists of drawings of members of the United States and Confederate military.
