The other copy concludes with typed excerpts of letters from Clay to John G. Mulcaster dated 1932-33 and a typed account of an interview with Tiffin Jenkins, at Grand Tower, in 1937 (41 pp.).

Nellie Grant Wood was born in 1868 in Jackson County, lived in Murphysboro and Grand Tower, and married Walter R. Benjamin in 1895. She died in 1950.
