Brief Description:

Letters, July 27, 1784, from John Franklin to the officers of the garrison in Wyoming, PA, demanding immediate surrender of the garrison; and March 9, 1789, from John Shean to James Ash announcing that the judges of the Supreme Court have agreed to admit John Franklin into Luzerne Co., PA.  Also, receipt of fees from John Franklin.  All three items were laid in A History of Wyoming by Isaac Chapman.  2 ALS, 2 pp.; DS.
