Scope and Contents: The collection of lawyer and arts patron, Walter Berry, spans the years 1885-1927 and consists primarily of notebooks, scrapbooks, photographs, postcards, and copies of some of his published works. Notebooks and scrapbooks comprise the bulk of the collection. Many are undated and written in French; those that have been dated span the years 1913 to 1927. Of note in the collection are a postcard tentatively identified as having been written by Edith Wharton, and a handwritten manuscript identified as copies of two short poems by her.
